The most common topic that is discussed often on variety shows and interviews is dating, and as most idols and fans will tell you, dating seems almost a taboo practice, since it’s rarely discussed. Not to mention, most entertainment companies enforce a strict ‘NO DATING’ policy. In recent months, Kpop fans saw first hand the drama the idols through when it is revealed they are in a relationship. B1A4 revealed their thoughts on the decision of going public during an interview and photo shoot for the September edition of fashion magazine ‘@star1.’ All the members revealed that going public with a relationship was out of the question saying, “I don’t think I would do that.”
Shin Woo made an interesting point when discussing their fans and personal life, pointing out that there is no positive outcome when it is announced openly. He stated, “First of all, fans will not be happy if they know that we are discussing about this. If I have to choose, I would never reveal the relationship.”
Gong Chan then revealed they keep themselves separate from other groups, most notably girl groups, “We don’t even have close girl group members. We do not have any plans about getting relationship, so fans do not have to get worried.” Gong Chan then finished his thought that relations were an abstract idea compared to their career, “We’ve never thought about going through a major change. We just want to keep building our career, and we will think about transformation when we need it.”
