On September 22nd, CIGNATURE released the MV for their title track, ‘Arisong’. The track comes off their simultaneously released 1st mini album, ‘Listen and Speak’. Check out the MV down below!
CIGNATURE ‘ARISONG’ MV:
The lyrics depict the confused feelings of a girl who cutely wants to win over the heart of her crush. The song itself is a breath of fresh air, with cute vocals that are under an EDM/Trap instrumental. It is a refreshingly loud and bright song that also features cool raps and a chant-like chorus; bringing out the song’s energy and showcases the group’s signature sound.
Watching the MV, it begins in a school classroom where all the members sit at their desks as the bell rings. The members in their solo scenes are shown doing various activities such as looking over the school rooftop and hanging out at a neon lit restaurant. The video also moves through various sets around the school and outside for the group. These include a dark spotlight lit school gymnasium, a train carriage, a grassy field with strategically placed mirrors in the background to further brighten the set, and finally in front of the neon lit restaurant named the same as the title track. Their outfits all scream in colour as does the choreography. It is in equal parts energetic and cute to reflect the song’s sense heightening nature.
‘Listen and Speak’ is the group’s 1st mini album following their debut with double title tracks back in February this year; ‘Nun Nu Nan Na’ and ‘Assa’. Both of those songs, and this title are included in listing for this five-song album.
