f(x) Amber Once Cried Because People Made Fun Of Her Looks

The July 29th episode of KBS’ ‘Hello‘ guest starred f(x)! The girls helped out various panel guests with their problems and worries.

One of the guests on the panel, was a girl in high school, who was having a hard time because she looks similar to Jo Jung Chi. When she revealed her face, the audience were in awe at her striking resemblance to the guitarist. She shared that she can’t even visit the bathroom peacefully, because of the kids who would make fun of her appearance.

Relevant to the young girl’s story, the MCs asked f(x) if they had ever experienced a similar situation. Victoria said that a lot of people likened her to actress Lee Na Young. Meanwhile, Amber shared, “I was told that I was SM dinosaur pokemon siblings with Super Junior’s Donghae and SHINee’s Jonghyun. I was Charmander, Jonghyun is Charmeleon, and Donghae is Charizard.”

Amber revealed, “I was teased a lot for looking like a boy until high school. There were times I cried because it was hard on me.” She also added, “But I thought, ‘I’m me, so I’m going to live for myself’. But I came to Korea, and it became my charm.”
