Heize has dropped a special illustrated MV for her track ‘But, Are You?’
‘But, Are You?’ is a track that was released back in March, as a part of Heize’s fourth mini album, ‘Wind’. The song is a sad melody about the questions and feelings following a painful breakup.
On July 9th, Heize dropped a special illustrated MV for ‘But, Are You?’ via her official V Live Channel. Although the special clip only lasts 52 seconds, it features coloured sketches by a talented artist!
“BUT, ARE YOU?” ILLUSTRATED MV
The first image is beautiful but melancholy; an upset Heize that is shedding a tear. The next drawing features a happy couple, before switching to another image of Heize happily chatting on the phone. These artworks tell a story of Heize reminiscing about the happier times in her past relationship.
Soon, the charming image of Heize crying fills the screen again, though it’s so lifelike that it’s hard to remember that these are all hand-drawn! The most stunning part of these sketches is Heize’s detailed eyes and the emotion that can be seen even through a drawing.
As the special clip comes to an end, viewers are left with a sad image of Heize standing alone in the rain next to an umbrella. While the song may be emotional, the visuals in the special illustrated MV are truly amazing!
