The boy group INFINITE, completed another fantastic episode of their reality show, ‘INFINITE Showtime’.
INFINITE claimed to be doing lot of betting and named Lee Seung-yeol, Kim Sung-kyu and Nam Woo-hyun as the kings of it. Since there cannot be three kings, in this episode, the boys decided to hold a few games to chose the real king. Candidates brought out choices which they felt they were confident with. At the end of each game the loser, as chosen by the winner, faces a penalty too.
First game was called ‘keeping the line’ which was suggested by Hoya. The game rules were as follows: flick a selected item from one line towards another line a few feet away. The objective is who flicks the farthest is the winner. A basketball, a bottle cap, ping-pong ball, shoe, button and a coin were chosen as the items and Lee Sung-jong, who’s item was a shoe, lost the game and went through a harsh penalty. Hoya took the lead and did a fantastic job doodling on the maknae’s face. The winner was Woo-hyun who flicked a ping-pong ball.
The next game was the blowing up a tissue. Whoever keep the tissue on air for a longer period of time is the winner. Charismatic Kim Myung-soo (L), took his turn and blew the tissue but the tissue seemed to be so in love with his handsome face and didn’t want to leave. Although the rest of the members teased him to be eliminated, using his amazing charm he got another chance and did much better to where the tissue found its way down rhythmically with his blow. Sung-kyu, at his show, helped the tissue to the ground in a shortest time, barely taking his place before Sung-jong, who became the loser again. His excuse was his poor site due to his invisible eyes.
Woo-hyun was crowned as the king once again, putting himself in a strong position as a candidate for the final crown. And, facing the penalty again, Sung-jong had to go to the supermarket, with his doodled face. He seemed to make the best out of the situation and had fun. I like his confidence.
Dong-woo suggested the next one as ‘Son Byungho Senior Game’, where the members have to fold a finger as applicable when something is claimed. For an example, Sung-jong who took the initiative claiming, wanted whoever elder him to fold a finger. He was bold and challenging ftowards his hyungs (older brothers).
This was a game full of fun but a couple bittersweet secrets were revealed too. When Sung-kyu asked whoever had been asked to leave the group to fold a finger, first one to do so was Woo-hyun. He revealed that he was asked to leave the line up during his training period. Sung-kyu comforted him saying, “You made it bravely”. Next one to fold a finger was Dong-woo. He revealed he was asked to leave many times, both prior to and after debut. Ultimately Sung-kyu had his finger folded too. He stated that he almost left during the promotions of the song ‘Nothing’s Over’, bursting into laughter.
Hoya was accused of having the same situation. But he said that although it looked like he could be the one to be asked to leave the most, surprisingly he never been. During this time Myung-soo had his face lit up as for he never had gone near such incident at all.
The next was a cute selca competition suggested by Sung-jong, which was followed by clapping game suggested by Sung-kyu and a sneezing game suggested by Myung-soo.
Although the series of games went on well with endless fun, we still missed one person from INFINITE; Seung-yeol was off filming for ‘Law Of The Jungle’. Other members didn’t end the games just there, but waited until Sung-yeol to come back to finish the betting series. The official last game was to throw a cap off your head which Woo-hyun won as well.
