On May 5th, Children’s Day in Korea, many K-Pop idols came together to perform on MBC’s “2014 New Life for Children” show, which benefited children with cancer and leukemia.
“New Life for Children” is a donation program that aids children with these debilitating illnesses, and over the past 23 years, it has raised over 33.2 billion won to aid in this cause. Many artists came out to show their support and perform, including Teen Top, Infinite, A Pink, Hyorin, and more. This is the first stage appearance for many since the SEWOL tragedy, and the songs chosen reflected a subdued and reflective atmosphere.
