KBS is known for strict rules when it comes to picking songs that are suitable for broadcast. They have previously banned two versions of 2PM’s “Go Crazy” and the list is getting bigger as the station decided that 12 (!) of Dynamic Duo Gaeko′s new songs are inappropriate for broadcast.
After reviewing the songs for the fourth week of October, the station found a total of 20 songs that did not qualify to be broadcasted. Most of them were Gaeko’s songs such as “Rose,” “Snapper Ending,” “Festival Virgin,” “Silver Sonata,” “Oh My God,” “East,” “Passout” and more. KBS explained that the reasons were brands mentioned in “Rose,” Festival Virgin,” and “Silver Sonata,” as well as profanity in “Snapper Ending,” and “Oh My God.”
The other 8 songs deemed unqualified for broadcast include Crucial Star‘s “I’m the One,” “Fire,” “Owl,” and “Checkout.” The songs were either too sugestive or included profanity.
Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko has recently returend with his solo album “READINGRAY” and title song “Rose” that talks about women who are losing their own color in order to adjust themselves to men. You can give the song a listen below.
