Between March 23rd and 24th, former GUGUDAN member turned soloist KIM SEJEONG continued to tease fans releasing more concept photos ahead of her 2nd mini album comeback, ‘I’m’. Check out the photos down below!
Looking fresh faced, we see her interacting with various objects. As she holds a red heart shaped vinyl record, there is an old fashioned wooden speaker behind, complete with an outdated radio. The first photo settles on the retro theme in this way, however other images show the artist trying to play with a beautiful blue turtle, then also smiling with a huge fluffy teddy bear and sweet donuts. They could all represent the different charms and sides of the singer that she wants to display through this mini album with its self-titled naming.
Prior to this, the idol dropped the track list and an audio teaser to the new title track, ‘Warning’. Featuring a muffled filter, the old-timey tune plays lonely piano chords as she sings the title to its beat. ‘Show Me The Money 9’ winner and rapper lIlBOI will also feature on the title track, creating anticipation surrounding how the final song will turn out. The five tracks on the EP have all been penned by the singer adding a personal touch to the songs.
Her last comeback was back in March last year when she dropped her 1st mini album, ‘Plant’ with the same named ballad title track that showcased delicate vocals. Hence this will mark her return in approximately one year. She meanwhile has been busy with being one of the lead actresses in the recently aired fantasy thriller K-Drama ‘The Uncanny Counter’ on the OCN network which resulted in the highest ratings for a drama in that network’s history, reaching 11% for its episode 16 finale.
KIM SEJEONG’s 2nd mini album, ‘I’m’ accompanied with the title track, ‘Warning’ featuring lIlBOI was released on March 29th, 6PM KST!
