Recently, Lee Hyori updated her fans on her ‘lemon detox’ diet, which she decided to try out for the new year.
On January 7th, she shared on her Twitter about this ‘lemon detox’ diet of hers that is part of her New Year’s resolutions, “To kick off the new year, I’ve started a lemon detox to lighten my body and mind, and today is my 3rd day~ For those interested, I will post up the [effects]~”
She then revealed the symptoms, “Lemon detox 1st day- you’re hungry, 2nd day- you’re a little more hungry, 3rd day- you’re very hungry. The end,” she added, “More than a diet, I am looking forward to the detox benefits that will make my body and mind clearer.. It would be nice if I happen to lose a little fat too~^^”
There’s more, Lee Hyori wanted to make sure her fans knew about any possible side-effects and so she posted again, “Lemon detox is not good for those who are doing it for a diet. For most people, after one week, your body goes back to its original weight~ I am eating the lemon detox food product that it I bought. Because it is a powder, I mix it with water and drink it 4-5 times daily. I don’t eat any other foods at first, and I drink it with a lot of water and herbal tea.”
