PENOMECO’s latest track will have you humming along in no time!
PENOMECO is back! The rapper has collaborated with Block B leader, Zico, for his latest release ‘L.I.E‘, which you can watch below!
‘L.I.E‘ is the result of PENOMECO‘s lyric writing skills, combined with Zico‘s compositional prowess. Zico‘s signature sound comes through in the track’s laid-back beat and bass-heavy synths, but the real star of the song is PENOMECO‘s voice.
His unique vocal colour shines, as he uses his higher tone singing voice throughout the chorus, floating over the groovy instrumental. However, PENOMECO really comes into his own in ‘L.I.E‘s rap verse. As he sinks into a lower vocal register, his rap rides the track’s beat in a way previously unseen in the song.
The music video for ‘L.I.E‘ combines a wide range of pastel colours, making the clip as easy on the eyes as it is to listen to. The use of darker, grittier colours during the rap verse, are evened out by the rapper’s quirky use of Animoji lip syncing!
