Jenyer, formally Jiyoon of 4Minute makes a comeback!
Jenyer revealed the live clip on January 13th. The track “Because” is an RnB focused track, with soulful lyrics. Jenyer herself took part in the composition and lyrical components of the song, adding special meaning to the track.
The MV is simple. Jenyer sits alone in a studio like space, focusing on singing the lyrics to her fans. Jenyer, formally Jiyoon of 4Minute was often well known for her fierce image and rapping skills. Through her solo image of Jenyer, she’s been able to show off her vocal capabilities and a more feminine image.

The lyrics sing of how love can change someone for the better. How everything looks better and brighter when you’re in love. But also how with time, you start to resemble and become more like whom you love. It also touches on the weariness that comes romance, how sometimes we second guess if this will last or if this is real.
