Indie duo LONG:D have teamed up with Weki Meki member Doyeon!
The music video for the collaborative song titled ‘All Night‘ was released on December 14th. Check it out below!
‘All Night‘ is a song that will simultaneously make you feel emotional and free. Repeated keyboard runs create a sense of sentimentality, whilst the song’s bass line sounds more akin to a The Chainsmokers-style dance track. Careful consideration has been given to the layering of the instrumentation, with sudden silences contrasting with more synth-intensive sections of the song. Doyeon‘s high, clear voice provides a perfect counterpoint to that of LONG:D‘s vocalist Minshark. A particularly spine-tingling moment of the song occurs when both vocalists sing together during the second chorus, Doyeon singing octaves higher than Minshark. The music video for ‘All Night‘ only features Doyeon, with the singer performing a dance that she makes appear effortless.
LONG:D‘s latest single ‘All Night‘ shows off both the duo’s musical style, and allows Doyeon to show another side of herself as an emerging artist. What did you think of the track? Let us know in the comments!
