Se.A just dropped her first EP ‘Purple,’ and you can listen to all five tracks on the EP on her official YouTube channel!
The EP consists of five tracks – ‘Purple,´ the title track, ‘Little Love’ which was Se.A’s debut track last month, ‘Over’ featuring Crucial Star, ‘Trouble,’ and ‘WYA’ featuring Verbal Jint.
‘Purple’ the EP is a collection of songs that Se.A wrote, sung and composed herself, it contains sentiments and stories that she wishes to express through her voice. Her voice, charm and distinctive tone crosses the boundaries of R&B, hip-hop and urban music, and this is a unique sound she has brought to her debut EP.
‘Purple’ is the title track that stimulates a dreamy and sophisticated feeling. It is the perfect title track to introduce one to Se.A’s unique sound.
‘Little Love’ is a soft pop R&B song that describe Se.A’s first thoughts about music. It was debuted last month, and built up hype for the EP.
‘Over’ features rapper Crucial Star and is about the relationships between men and women. The track has a chill, slower vibe.
‘WYA’ features rapper Verbal Jint and displays Se.A’s signature dreamy sound, while also being an upbeat and feel-good song.
Lastly, ‘Trouble’ is a meaningful song about a love that is in trouble, it also features beautiful piano sounds.
Despite debuting last month, Se.A is no stranger to the music scene, having worked as a songwriter and lyricist alongside producers since she was young.
Se.A first entered the public eye at 17, when she auditioned for ‘Superstar K3’ where she placed 19th. In the three years since then, she has built her own style and flare and has returned to showcase her unique sensibility and beauty.
We love the ‘Purple’ EP and can’t wait to see what she has in store! What is your favorite track? Will you be supporting Se.A? Let us know in the comments below!
