Sojuboi is back!
Have you heard of Sojuboi? Because if you haven’t, strap yourself in, it’s going to be a fun ride!
Sojuboi blew up in April of 2017 when he released his iconic track, ‘Ahjumma‘! The track essentially apologises but also thanks the Ahjummas working at Korean BBQ restaurants, who have to put up with rowdy customers, such as Sojuboi himself.
Now he’s back with another interesting track. ‘Shibutani‘ is about the famous American ice skater Maia Shibutani. Sojuboi writes in the description of the video, ‘Just an average day drinking some soju, and I seen some majestic ass beautiful ice skating and was awed I had to make a song bout her. It was like love at first sight, shoutout to Maia Shibutani, will you marry me.‘ Couldn’t have put it any better myself.

The MV has Sojuboi singing to Maia Shibutani as she skates in the background. It’s obviously not a green screen. With his signature auto-tune and freestyle dance moves. He doesn’t forget to mention Soju of course.
