BDC (Boys Da Capo) ‘Shoot The Moon’ in space set comeback MV!

On September 23rd, BDC (Boys Da Capo) unveiled the MV for their title track, ‘Shoot The Moon’. The song comes off the trio’s 1st mini album, ‘The Intersection: Belief’ which was also simultaneously released. Check out the MV down below!

BDC ‘SHOOT THE MOON’ MV:

The lyrics describe them wanting to take their lover away from their worries, to run away to a place beyond the moon. The track features a smooth guitar melody and has a minimal chorus; before dropping into a bolder synth and trap instrumental for the remainder of refrain, giving the song variation. The group’s vocals shine here with their slightly airy but robust qualities blending well.

The MV opens in outer space where we see planets lined a row before the camera stops at the centre of the moon. By the middle of video, we see the moon shot through with a blue light into pieces. We later learn though various events that the three members all gather blue gem shards in tubes, and walking together supposedly activate the light to shoot the moon.

The members themselves have several scenes in the MV featuring different sets. The set of black suits paired with leather harnesses to give off a clean chic look was seen in the group’s earlier teasers. There is also a grey/white layered look, appearing like stylized astronaut inspired outfit; and a head to toe royal blue suit and pant attire with a different harness over top creating an equally stunning neat look. Moving on to the choreography, the smoothness and flow match the melodic sections of track; whilst the more powerful elements such as the formations in the synth post-chorus also complement the tune.

‘The Intersection: Belief’ contains five tracks including this title track, and a collaboration with former X1 member and fellow Brand New Music artist, Lee Eunsang. The album is the trio’s first comeback since their debut back in October 2019 with their self titled single album. Fans have been waiting for them for a long time, and finally have more music from the group to savor over.

BDC‘s 1st mini album, ‘The Intersection: Belief’ featuring the title track, ‘Shoot The Moon’ is available now.
