Some problems occured with promotions of JYJ‘s Junsu upcoming album ‘Incredible.’
Junsu’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, revealed in an official press release, that they have been wronged by a distributor, Loen Entertainment.
The agency stated, that they have been discussing the online and offline distribution and other businesses concerning Kim Junsu’s upcoming album with Loen Entertainment since May.
“However, last night (July 8th), with just six days left until the album release, we’ve received word from Loen’s executive team that it will only follow through with the online and offline distribution of the album, but will annul the marketing promotions which were agreed upon in the final talks.”
In the press release, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that they had decided to hold Junsu’s upcoming album showcase through Loen Entertainment instead of a portal website after Loen Entertainment offered a series of promising marketing plans through Melon web and mobile.
On July 3rd, C-Jes Entertainment received an email from Loen Entertainment, suggesting that the showcase be streamed through both Loen TV and Melon TV. C-Jes Entertainment confirmed.
However, they have now received news from Loen Entertainment that the showcase will only be streamed through Loen TV as a decision made by the executive team.
“To one-sidedly telling us six days before the showcase that the showcase will not be released on Melon and will only be streamed on Loen TV is clearly an act of tyranny by a higher power.”
C-JeS Entertainment warned that if Loen Entertainment does not stream the showcase on Melon TV as well, it will not be allowing guests invited through the Melon event in. Instead, they will organize the audience and the showcase will be aired through their official channel.
