On January 30th, CLC made their long-awaited comeback with their newly-released MV for ‘No‘. Check it out below!
In this comeback, the group are defying girl group stereotypes. This song clearly showcases strong girl power as they say “no” to things that are usually associated with femininity. At the beginning of the MV, each member is standing in a transparent glass box. It looks like they are on display, which may represent that girls are often objectified. The lyrics state that they want other objects to identify themselves with. Their outfits are chic and colourful, matching the edgy mood of the song.
Fans have been waiting for CLC‘s comeback since their release of ‘Black Dress‘ last year. As usual, the group has exceeded everyone’s expectations. ‘No‘ is the title track of their eighth mini album ‘No. 1‘.
