Yes, that is right. DIA‘s Eunjin has announced her withdrawal from the group. On May 7th, she had posted a handwritten letter. So, check it out below!
The letter reads like this:
“Hello, this is Eunjin. Have all the AID members been doing well? First, I want to apologise for writing this letter when you all have been waiting for me for so long. This will be a long letter that will have all my sincerity. Honestly, my health was really bad at the start of last year. There were days where I felt fine, while there were days where I couldn’t leave the dorm at all. When these days happened, the members were always there by my self so I was able to bear through it.
However, when I stood on stage, it was difficult to remove the feelings of being overpowered and fear. That is the reason why there were days where I wasn’t able to show the best side of myself and thus showed a more disappointing side. I think there may have been a source of disappointment to those who supported us. It is late however I would like to apologize for that.
As I continue to receive treatment, my health still didn’t get better. There is work that I wanted to do for a long time, and I do want to do well, however, I am lacking at the moment. Since DIA is currently preparing for a return, I thought that I was getting in their way and unable to help them, so I have made a difficult decision to depart.
I have thought about this for a long time and this decision is one that I have come to after this long thoughts. I apologize once more for giving you pain. I hope that people who I love and those who love me will not be hurt by this decision. This will be my last goodbye as DIA’s Eunjin. However, I will continue to show support for my members as the one who loves DIA the most and I will return back to my ordinary Eunjin life and will live well.
I am grateful to all my DIA members who have helped me, as well as show their support for me and cheer me on, the staff members and AID. I love you”
