EXO Finally Finish Teasing With Audio Release And D.O’s Teaser

The waiting is finally coming to an end! After spending a long time releasing mysterious individual teasers for all the other members, EXO has finally released the last one, featuring D.O.

At first I wondered why they decided to leave D.O as the last one, since all the other teasers showed the members’s powers out of control for some reason, and his own power (earth) wasn’t exactly anything that could connect the others and explain the puzzle that was getting more and more complex. But then, after watching his video, I understood: earth does not stand for the ground only, but for the planet Earth as well. Check it out and see where this leads us:

Since D.O can feel things all over the planet with his ability of connecting to Earth, he might actually be the main key to solve the mystery involving the EXO members, since he’s the only one who can feel what’s happening to all of them. This was so obvious, and yet none of us noticed it, which makes it, by far, my favorite #Pathcode video.

If you have ever watche the movie “Pi,” directed by Darren Aronofsky, you can clearly see some similarites, hinting that the teaser’s aesthetics might have been inspired by it. There’s the spiral stairs, the locked door with a peephole through which D.O looks and a very similar background sound. Could it be that they made it on purpose so we could relate D.O’s confusing and overwhelming visions to the ones of the movie’s main characters, Max?

Along with D.O’s teaser, SM Entertainment pre-released the audio of EXO’s main track “Call Me Baby,” which achieved an all-kill in nine real-time charts even before the release of the music video. This is EXO. This is what we expect from them, and they are not letting us down!

The music video for “Call Me Baby,” along with their new album “EXODUS,” will release on March 30th, so stay tuned to check it out!

I've loved Asia in general since I was a little kid, when I used to prefer animes over regular cartoons and my friends thought I was weird. While I became older, my love for Asian culture grew up and I began to listen to japanese music and watch japanese dramas, which I fell in love with. A few years ago, my friends dragged me into the k-pop world and I began so involved with Korea that I think I will never be able to overcome my love for it. I now dream of studying in Korea and, hopefully, working in Seoul and living the rest of my life there. I believe that there's no k-pop group that I really don't like, but my ultimate biases are G-Dragon, Heechul, Hongki, CL, Lee Hi, Hani and Hyuna. I also like YG Appa and JYP a lot, but as fatherly figures, not really as idols.
