EXO’s Chen has released the MV to his new heart-tugging track ‘Beautiful Goodbye’.
The MV for ‘Beautiful Goodbye’ is put together extremely well. The opening footage, panning over isolated lands, dried out plants and trees, and birds flying away, sets the scene and feeling of loneliness. Having a piano as the only instrument throughout the song, not only showcases Chen’s emotion filled soulful voice, but allows us to focus on it.
The neutral tones used throughout the MV, gives it a soft look – even translating into warm and earthy-toned soft make-up on Chen. The slow close-up and panning shots, compliment the scene and melody of the song well, and ties the entire MV together beautifully.
