On October 5th, boy group GOLDEN CHILD released the music video their new title track, ‘DDARA’. This comes off their repackaged 2nd full album of the same name. In fact, it has only been 2 months since their last comeback with the original full album, ‘Game Changer’ with lead single, ‘Ra Pam Pam’. Regarding the quick turnaround, the boys acted fast to learn and prepare for this new comeback, as a constant repayment to their fans. The repacked album also comes with a new B-side, ‘Oasis’. Written by member Tag, he also participated in the song’s creation in production.
‘DDARA’ brings the Woolim Entertainment act to the new jack swing genre. It has a refined feel with a funky brass that fades into the masculine beat. The repeated chorus lyrics of the title charm listeners as we hear it from the different members’ vocal tones; making it sound slightly different in inflection each time. Watching the music video, it focuses heavily on the performance aspects. The 10-member group all suit up for this comeback Wearing a variety of fitted formalwear, from the simple inviting black suits, to patterned blue, they effortlessly display the key point of the dance; a rapid leg extension out to the side. This combined with their charismatic expressions show they were prepare to impress.
