“Good Doctor” Off To A Good Start!

New KBS drama “Good Doctor” has risen to the top of the ratings race in just two episodes.

According to Nielson Korea, “Good Doctor” recorded 10.9% for its pilot episode, aired on August 5th. The second episode, aired on August 6th recorded 14.0%, an increase of 3.1% from the previous day.

This put “Good Doctor” on the #1 spot for dramas airing around the same time, including MBC’s “Goddess of Fire Jung Yi,” which recorded 11.6% and SBS’ “Empire of Gold,” which recorded 11.0%.

“Good Doctor” is a drama with a fast paced and interesting story line, which is highlighted with acting from Joo Won.

“Good Doctor” also showed high ratings for the Internet TV site, TVing, recording 17% for its pilot episode.

Actor Park Ki Woong gave high praise for Joo Won’s acting in the drama, which topped headlines.
