It has been announced that HISTORY will be disbanding. With the leader Song Kyungil‘s enlistment and the four remaining members soon to follow suit, their agency, FAVE Entertainment, has revealed “HISTORY officially closes all group activities of four years on May 12th.”
After HISTORY had a deep discussion with FAVE Entertainment about the current direction of their activity, the members and the entertainment have agreed to end the group activities of HISTORY. Meanwhile FAVE Entertainment have commented “Even though HISTORY will be ending, all five members will still be apart of this company. On top of that, after their return from military, they will continue on with their individual activities to promote a more promising future. We sincerely thank all the fans for been with HISTORY for the past four years. We look forward to your continued interest and encouragement for the five members on their new beginning.”
HISTORY had entered the music industry with their debut track, ‘Dreamer‘ in 2013. It has been four years since then. It is unfortunate to hear that HISTORY will be disbanding but be sure to continue to support the boys through their new individual futures! We hope the best for each member and in their future endeavors.
