On November 11th, Hotshot released their MV teaser for their title track ‘I Hate You‘. They will make their comeback with second mini album ‘Early Flowering‘ on November 15th at 12pm KST.
Sungwoon will not be present in this comeback as he is still active as a member of Wanna One.
Hotshot’s MV teaser for ‘I Hate You’:
This MV teaser is not what fans would expect, especially after seeing their concept photos and highlight medley for ‘Early Flowering‘. It seemed like this concept would be about embracing and matching the season. However, this MV teaser is a stark contrast from that. The song is sentimental and showcases the group’s powerful vocals.
It starts with a long quote in English about losing sight of life. The members sit in a living room that has just gone through chaos. Meanwhile, a girl dances in the middle of the room. In a sudden black-and-white shot, one member walks down a hallway. Going back to the room, the girl is in the arms of one of the members as the rest of the group sit around and watch them. Their feet are submerged in water, while another part of the room is on fire. The tone of the MV changes when it becomes darker, and we can hear one of the members hitting a high note in the background.
