After two years, VERIVERY returned with their third U.S. tour, Go On, which was a uniquely combined fan meeting and concert. The quartet, consisting of Yeonho, Gyehyeon, Kangmin, and Yongseung, kicked off the night in Chicago with “Crazy Like That” and “Tag Tag Tag,” setting a mellow yet energetic tone. Despite having fewer members on this tour, their strong stage presence and performance made up for it.
The night featured a mix of games and unit stages, showcasing different sides of the members beyond the usual concert atmosphere. In the first game segment, they split into teams for charades and song-guess, with songs like KISS OF LIFE’s “Midas Touch,” Stray Kids’ “S-Class,” and a double-speed version of VERIVERY’s “Trigger.”‘ As a treat for the fans, Kangmin and Gyehyeon, who lost the challenge, also danced to aespa’s “Supernova.” The concert segment continued with “Wish U Were Here” and “Flower,” the latter of which included the members tossing purple flowers into the crowd. During a brief Q&A, they humorously revealed that their favorite “flower” was VERRER, their fans.

In the second half, the four members performed “O,” which asserted a more mature, darker theme that led into the unit stages that were to follow. Kangmin and Yeonho’s soulful cover of Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood” contrasted with Gyehyeon and Yongseung’s dance-centric cover of Jungkook’s “Standing Next to You,” which featured sultrier laidback vocals. Beginning the final segment with an upbeat performance of “Tap Tap Tap,” the group continued on with a lively rendition of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” before officially ending the show with their heartfelt ballad, “With Us.”

Just prior to the start of the encore, fans initiated a touching chorus of “Happy Birthday,” dedicated to Yongseung, whose birthday is on June 17th. With an eager return, the members took their places and continued with the high-energy, gifting fans with performances of “Alright,” “Ring Ring Ring,” “Trigger,” “Lay Back,” and “Fly With Me.” After a few final words from each member, the night came to an end with “Fine,” which served as a tearful reminder of the night’s festivities.
