The summer is finally here, signifying long and hot days, barbecues, picnics, and vacations. There is so much to do during those few weeks, so why not do all of that while listening to some K-Pop?! For this week’s “KMusic Playlist” segment, we present you a set of K-Pop songs that are perfect to listen to during the summer!
f(x) – Hot Summer
Pretty obvious, right? This is a remake of a song under the same title, released by a German girl group Monrose in 2007. This song just screams ice cream, sunglasses, and beach.
Sistar- Loving U
The song was featured on the group’s “Sistar Summer Special Album” that was released in 2012. Actually, the whole album should make it to our playlist, but we decided to pick this one as a representative, also because the music video that goes with it is extremely fun to watch. Who wouldn’t like to experience a summer romance?
PSY – Gangnam Style
This world-wide hit song was released in July 2012, just in time for summer! It was played everywhere – at big festivals, cameral barbecues parties, and at picnics. “Gangnam Style” gives that kind of summer feeling that makes it very enjoyable to listen to during hot days. As well, PSY released this track with the intention that everyone could feel happier in the summertime despite the heat.

One word – bikinis!
Beast – Beautiful Night
Another summer hit on our list. Released in July 2012, this song surely had tons of people dancing to it.
Orange Caramel – Abing Abing
It’s hot! Ice melts, a drop of sweat appears on a forehead – time for ice cream, swimming pool and Orange Caramel!
BIGBANG – Always
The music video shows BIGBANG members having fun on a yacht, beach and in a shop with souvenirs. If only we could spend a day with BIGBANG on a yacht…
2NE1 – Falling in Love
This song and music video has everything summer needs – hot girls and boys, beach, and miniskirts.
MYNAME – Summer Party
The song speaks for itself – “Everybody it’s summer party! Raise your hands, catch the sun!”
HyunA – Ice Cream
It suddenly got really hot! Luckily HyunA is here with some ice cream!
BIGBANG – Sunset Glow
Another song by BIGBANG that we cannot spend summer without!
