HISTORY is a 5-member group formed in 2013, under LOEN Entertainment (previous name of 1theK). They debuted on April 26th, 2013, after many funny teasers with their first single album “Dreamer” and a full MV.
Their style was really innovative when they debuted. The song and the stage were more like a musical production than an actual K-Pop debut. According to LOEN, “HISTORY is not just your typical idol group. It is an alternative group, not defined by a specific genre but rather for their passion for music.” “Dreamer” MV also counted with a narration by IU and with Son Dam Bi as the main girl.

The boys debuted on Music Bank on April 26th and performed a touching stage under many screams from fans and an incredible fanchant.

According to LOEN, “He is the man of man that even members agree on. Although he has a very strong face, he also has a very sensitive and kind personality. He has the wholeheartedness and sincerity that makes him move as soon as he decides to do something, and he is a man who achieves it too. His vocal is attractive, but his dance is just as amazing since he has studied modern dance.“.
He used to be a model and is part of Nuthang (pronounced ‘new-thang’), a group of close friends that includes BIGBANG’s G-Dragon & TOP, along with Lee Hyuksoo (model), Yang Seungho (model), and other famous people including actors, models, law students, stylists, and more.

Na Do-Kyun (나도균)

LOEN stated that, “He says singing makes him the most happy. When he is singing, he is beautiful. His voice is so sweet that you might want to give him his heart when you hear it. His handsome features and good manners make him look like a model student, but his another attraction might be him becoming talkative when he’s with his members. He prepared very diligently and he waited for this more than anyone. This man is coming to you to capture your heart.”
Before debuting in HISTORY, Do-Kyun debuted in 2010 as a member of Buzz, under A1 People, as “Nayul“, the main singer. He released two albums when he was a part of Buzz: “Fuzz.Buzz” (2010) and “Buzz Return” (2012). Check out one of Buzz’s MVs, “Thorn“:
He also sang “Love Rain” OST “Because It’s You” and after his debut, he made an appearence in “Medical Top Team“.
Kim Si-Hyoung (김시형)

LOEN believes that, “He has an amazing appearance that looks like he just jumped out of a comic book. This man became famous even before his debut, having his own fan page. But don’t be fooled by his chic appearance. His amazing smile might take your heart away. By the way, his voice is amazing too.”
Before his debut, Si-Hyoung was a model for Showganzi and an Ulzzang. He was casted in “Ulzzang Generation 3” and chosen as “New Ulzzang” out of 4000 people. He used to be mistaken as SHINee‘s Taemin older brother.
Kim, Jae-Ho (김재호)

According to LOEN, “He has the ability to make himself the main character with his dancing, singing and rapping skills. He has a positive mindset, believing in ‘I can do it’. Jang, Yi-Jeong (장이정)

LOEN says, “If you think about the time when he was on MBC ‘Star Audition:the Great Birth II’, you will remember his cute face. His special voice moved our heart. At the same time, he has the courage not to shake even on his first time appearing on TV. For the last one year, Jang Yi Jeong’s special attraction has gotten stronger. Fans will finally get the assurance that their insight was right.”

After his debut with HISTORY, he also featured in IU’s “Friday” song and MV.
He is also usually compared to TEEN TOP‘s Niel, mainly because of their lips, and he even calls Niel hyung.
HISTORY sure made an impact in the K-Pop world after their debut. The group soon became loved by many fans and LOEN decided to release an English subbed video of the members talking about themselves to let the fans know more about them:
Their official fandom name, “Storia“, was announced on May 6th, 2013, through their official Fancafe.
Later that year, HISTORY had their first comeback with their first mini album “Just Now” and a complete different concept. Their comeback MV, “Tell Me Love“, was released on August 19th.
Their mini album was released on August 20th and included five tracks:

2. Blind
3. My Red Night
4. Why Not
5. (Tropical Night) Tell Me Love (Inst.)
Later, in November, they had their second comeback with “Blue Spring” mini album. Their new MV, “What am I to You?” was released on November 25th. It was rated +19 because of violence and showed a very darker concept compared to their other videos.
This mini abum was released on November 28th and had five new tracks:

3. Tomorrow
4. 신파 (Easy)
