Minzy, who departed from 2NE1 earlier this year, is slowly preparing and planning out for her first solo concept!
Previously, Minzy had disclosed the information that she had signed an exclusive contract with Music Works, an agency that is home to artists like: Baek Ji Young, Song Yoo Bin, and Yoo Sung Eun. Formerly, Minzy was under contract with YG Entertainment for seven years.
Recently a Music Works representative revealed that Minzy is presently working on selecting what her first solo album concept should be. She has not yet pronounced a date for her solo debut, hence that she is still trying to establish a style that fits her fittingly. The representative says, “She is surrounded by an abundance of music from various producers and is working hard to find songs that match her style and personality. She is not discerning when it comes to any dance or ballad genres; she is taking things slow and steady towards her new career.”
Besides preparing meticulously preparing for her first solo concept, Minzy is also currently a junior who is studying at an university.
