Embarking on their 1st World Tour, Reach For Us, Oneus made their fifth stop in Madison, WI. Being the first kpop group to grace the stage in Madison, the group made waves with their flawless choreography and swoon-worthy visuals.
Opening with “Bring It On,” the crowd was brimming with pure excitement as their strong dancing only gave a taste of what was to come. From “Come Back Home” to “Black Mirror,” the vibes were nothing short of powerful. The intensity filled the room with louder screams as the members took to the stage for a variety of cover tracks, including a vocal cover of BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom,” and dance covers ranging from Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack” to a fresh remix of “Danger Zone,” originally sung by Kenny Loggins for the film, Top Gun.
The pace slowed for ballad tracks “Red Thread” and “Youth,” showing a softer side to the members. Although the pace had slowed, it regained momentum with “Incomplete” and other hype tracks such as “Same Scent” and “To Be or Not To Be.” While the night maintained the same powerful energy as the show began with, the encore set the mood for what previous stops considered to be an especially happy ending.
The encore began with the soft and energetic “Life is Beautiful,” before transitioning into “The Last Song.” The members weaved through the aisles to greet their devoted fans, creating the most memorable encore. The night came to a close soon after, wrapping up Madison’s first kpop concert, and creating a night no one in attendance will forget.
