Park ShinHye is currently reviewing a new drama which would make it her comeback to the small screen. This would be the first drama she would have worked on since the beginning of the year when she starred as Choi InHa, opposite Lee JongSuk, in SBS’ ‘Pinocchio’.
A rep from Park ShinHye′s agency, S.A.L.T Entertainment, stated on December 24th, “Park Shin Hye received an offer to appear in the drama ‘Girl Gangster Hye Jung’ (working title) and is reviewing the role.“
‘Girl Gangster Hye Jung’ was written by Ha MyungHee, who also wrote the JTBC drama ‘Can We Get Married?’, SBS′ ‘One Warm Word’ and SBS′ ‘High Society’. The drama is centered on a girl who had a grim adolescence with the reputation as a girl gangster and follows her life after as she becomes a doctor in her adulthood. SBS is in talks to air the drama.
Park ShinHye had taken a break from working on dramas, as she helped her family with the restaurant and concentrated on her school work. She is currently enrolled in Chung-Ang University as a Theatre and Film major.
Besides starring in ‘Pinocchio’, ShinHye is also known for her roles in ‘You’re Beautiful’ with Lee HongKi, Jung YongHwa, and Jang GeunSuk, ‘Heirs’ starring Lee MinHo, and Kim WooBin, and ‘Flower Boys Next Door’ opposite Yoon ShiYoon, and Kim JiHoon.
I really hope she takes this new role because being a huge fan of hers, this would definitely be a different kind of character for her. Are you excited at the possibility? Tell us how you feel.
