BTOB’s lead rapper, Peniel, is gearing up to drop his first solo album called ‘Homesick’.
Not wanting to crash onto BTOB’s own comeback with their eighth mini album ‘Remember That’, Peniel uploaded a video previewing the album and explaining that due to their own promotions he is definitely not trying to impose on that. The mixtape will be released a little later after the album has completed its round.
Peniel let fans know that you can listen to the lead track ‘Repeat’ featuring Legaci on Soundcloud. He is working with Kairos Music Group, a Los Angeles based recording agency, for ‘Homesick’ and has traveled to his hometown of Chicago to work on some of this mixtape.
Also, check out the video below where he gives a highlight medley of the new album and explanation of each track on his own personal YouTube called POV.
I thought it was really cool how Peniel didn’t want to ruin the promotions for his group, and thus his album would have to wait. I actually am looking forward to his mixtape. More and more idol rappers are stepping out and showing that they aren’t just a boy band member but they take their rapping seriously. Will you be getting his new mixtape? Let us know!
