Even though Kim Hyun Joong’s ex-girlfriend has dropped the charges against the singer, the case is still not over. As he admitted to one of the four charges, the police decided to send his assault case to the public prosecutor’s office for further investigation.

The Songpa Police Department‘s chief of the crime department, who was in charge of Kim Hyun Joong’s assault case, commented, “Of the four charges reported, Kim Hyun Joong has admitted to the suspicion of injury charge.”

He continued, “As he has admitted to it, the case will be forwarded to the public prosecutor′s office either this or next week for further review. We′ll be sending our opinions on the matter and the prosecutor′s office will finalize the case.”

Kim Hyun Joong’s ex-girlfriend issued a lawsuit against him for repeatedly assauliting her. She claimed that the singer seriously injured her twice, including a rib fracture that took six weeks to heal. Kim Hyun Joong admitted to a verbal argument that turned physical and personally apologized to his ex-lover who later dropped all charges.
