“Reply” Series To Have A Third Season Placed in 1988

The “Reply” series has gathered thousands of fans from all around the world with their two seasons “Reply 1997” and “Reply 1994“. The series also represented very important roles for many famous actors, such as APink‘s Eunji, Seo In Guk, Infinite‘s Hoya, Go Ara, Jung Woo, Tiny G’s Dohee and B1A4′s Baro.

For the fans’ happiness, it seems like the producers are already planning a third season entitled “Reply 1988“, which will take before long before the other two seasons. According to a staff member “There were years like 2002 and 1988 and many more to be used. However, it had been decided that 1988 will be the year for the new series. As for the season premiere, we are currently expecting July 2015.”

Back then, there were already many famous singers such as Cho Yong Pil, Lee Moon Sae and Kim Wan Sun. However, since “Reply 1994” was mostly focused on sports and not on music, we can’t think just about the music scenario from that year. Many things happened in 1988, such as the participation of many famous Korean actors in Chinese movies, the Seoul Olympics, and the 1988 College Festival. The new season might have an amazing an unexpected focus, and he must way for an official statement about the plot to find it out.

Also, there still hasn’t been any information about the cast of the new season, and we might get surprised with the appearance of famous idols and actors that we like. Which ones do you think that would be cool for the cast? I personally would like to see Wonder Girls’ former member Sohee now that she decided to focus on her acting career, as well as Kim Min Young and maybe a member from a GOT7. I would also like to be introduced to new actors that haven’t acted in big dramas yet.

Also, there’s been some speculation whether the actors Sung Don Il and Lee Il Hwa will appear in the new season since they’ve been main character from both “Reply 1997” and “Reply 1994”, and some of the most loved by the fans. There are also some theories about “Reply 1998” telling the story from when they were young, and then they would play themselves older in the present part of the chapters.
