It’s been two months since Royal Pirates released their third mini album ‘3.3’ with the title track ‘Run Away’. This new album was unlike anything they had ever released before with a more rock base branching away from their previous pop-like hits such as ‘Love Toxic’ or ‘Drawing The Line’. Now they are back with a new music video for ‘Dangerous’ and looking as ever the rocker than before.
Royal Pirates consists of three members, Kim MoonChul, James Lee, and EXSY also known as Kim SooYoon. For their comeback, James Lee went from playing the bass and guitar to moving to keyboards due to an accident prior before the release of the ‘3.3’, which you can see in the music video for ‘Run Away’.
For the newest music video, ‘Dangerous’, Royal Pirates are donning some new hair styles and bringing on the tattoo liberation as EXSY is seen with a new heart piece. This song definitely has a stronger rock sound than their title track and the video brings that to life with amazing instrumentals and MoonChul’s killer vocals. They also brought in rock artist Enik of FYKE on the bass. Check out the video below!
When I first listened to ‘3.3’ I was in love with Royal Pirates new sound. They always have a hand in their music but this felt a bit more them and I am so happy they released a music video for ‘Dangerous’ because to me it’s one of those hidden gems on the album. How did you like the new video? Tell us your opinion!
