You read that right hip-hop producer Timbaland and Korean artist Eric Nam will be sharing the stage for the 2016 Mnet Asia Music Awards. Mnet released the official statement on their website saying:
“We are currently in discussion to have Timbaland and Eric Nam perform a collaboration stage at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards.”
This isn’t Timbaland’s first appearance in the Korean wave. The producer appeared as a guest judge on the Korean rap competition ‘Show Me The Money 5′ back in May.
Eric Nam is also nominated for Best vocal performance for a male solo for his album ‘Good for you’. You can cast your ballots on Mnet’s site to vote for your favorite male/female nominees. MAMA will premiere on December 2md at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong.
