On September 15th, UP10TION released the MV teaser for their upcoming title track, ‘Light’. Just three days later on the 18th, they dropped the track list for its associated 9th mini album, ‘Light Up’. Check out both teasers down below!
UP10TION ‘LIGHT’ MV TEASER + ‘LIGHT UP’ ALBUM TRACK LIST:
Watching the MV teaser, the members express their charismatic sides within their sets. There is a smoke filled room, a red lit empty space where the members perform in head to toe white making them all the more noticeable, a black cage that is locked via white pieces of string, and a white corridor-like scene. With the exception of the last location, most of the scenes in the MV are dark, only illuminated by multi-coloured lighting. The teaser ends with a sports car with its front lights turned on. The synth instrumental that plays all through the teaser has no vocals so the group is very teasing with how the song will sound like.
Moving onto the track list, ‘Light Up’ will contain six tracks. They include:
- ‘Light’ (title track)
- ‘Destiny’
- ‘Stop The Clock’
- ‘Dawn’
- ‘Waiting For You’
- ‘Empty House’
Members Kuhn and Bitto contributed to the majority of the track’s lyrics with the exception of the title track.
As stated previously, the group will be promoting as seven members this time round. This is due to members Lee Jinhyuk and Kim Woosek not participating in the comeback and leader Jinhoo dealing with health concerns. The group have so far revealed concept photos and lyric teasers in addition to the teasers above, with more along the way.
UP10TION‘s 9th mini album, ‘Light Up’, featuring the title track and MV for ‘Light’, will be released on September 24th, 6PM KST!
