After 10 years, it looks like Wonder Girls‘ contract with JYP Entertainment will be coming to an end! It was reported that the girls’ contracts will end later this month. Both parties have been in discussion over the girls’ contracts since last year. Despite talks of contract renewals, none of the members have confirmed to re-sign.
The members have been concerned about their career since last year. Representatives from JYP have stated that, “No decision has been made yet. We are currently in discussions about renewing the contract.”
Sources revealed on January 5th that some members have been in contact with other companies. One official reported, “It is true that we talked with one of the members about transferring. However, the contract period has not ended yet, and it is difficult to disclose their positions since we are still in the discussion stage.”
At this time, no additional updates have been give regarding the four members. Hopefully all 4 members will get to stick together!
