After dropping moody teaser clips, Henry has now dropped his new solo track ‘Monster‘.
SM Entertainment have released both an English and Chinese music video for the song, as well as a Korean audio version.
The song is a soulful R&B track which features a subdued and mellow electric guitar that gives the song a slight rock vibe. It was written and composed by Henry himself.
The lyrics depict a man who is struggling to cope with the end of a relationship and who is trying to find his way when he is sad, lost and alone.
The English and Chinese music videos are the same and are quite dark and moody which fits with the theme of the song.
The clip is mostly shot in black and white which adds to the tone of the song. The entire concept is quite gloomy with Henry singing the song while walking and driving through crowds of partying people before eventually crashing in a dark tunnel.
