Highlight member Son Dongwoon has released the music video for ‘Can I Love You’ which is a song from the stage musical he is currently starring in ‘Sandglass’.
The musical is based on the 1995 drama of the same name. Dongwoon plays the role of Baek Jae Hui who is a bodyguard who chooses to protect others over money and honour.
It’s quite a different Dongwoon from the one we’re used to seeing when he performs with his bandmates in Highlight. He’s more sombre and subdued which suits the character, however, his powerful and mesmerising vocals are still the same.

The talented performer is playing the same role as Hoya who released a music video from the musical in November.
