Brown Eyed Soul member Jung Yup has made his long-awaited solo comeback!
Three years on from his last solo release, Jung Yup has released his beautiful new single ‘Nothing Left‘!
‘Nothing Left‘ is a classic style of ballad, with the male persona voiced by Jung Yup reflecting on his past love. The song is calm and soft but still manages to express the bursting emotions of the persona in a powerful way. On the surface ‘Nothing Left‘ seems like a calm, restrained song, but the introduction of more layers of instrumentation throughout the song adds to the sense of regret portrayed in the lyrics. Jung Yup‘s voice conveys the lyrics with such sensitivity and sincerity that is sure to touch the heart of every person who listens to the song. The music video for ‘Nothing Left‘ combines brightly coloured shots with slowed down cinematography, lending the clip a sense of calm that reflects that of the song itself. The shots in the music video alternate between the man’s memories of a happier time and his loneliness in the present. Check out the music video for Jung Yup‘s new song ‘Nothing Left‘ below!
