iKON have finally made their comeback with their second studio album ‘Return‘ and title track ‘Love Scenario‘.
‘Return‘ features a total of 12 tracks that were all co-written of feature lyrics by iKON members B.I and Bobby. Their YG Entertainment label mates Psy, BIGBANG‘s Taeyang and Epik High‘s Tablo also feature on the song writing credits for the album. Other collaborators included Choice37 and Teddy Park.
‘Love Scenario‘ is a playful hip-hop/pop fusion track. The song has a relaxed easy-going vibe to it and the beat is kept moving with a strong percussion beat (it almost sounds like a cowbell). The circuitous melody guides the rhythmic dance track, which is a surprisingly upbeat song about a relationship that’s falling apart. Each member is given a chance to shine on this track which is another great change from their more recent releases. Their voices blend perfectly and harmoniously together, each one flowing easily into the next. It’s a subtle and welcome change for iKON that delivers on the promise that they showed with their debut release.
The music video for ‘Love Scenario‘ is relaxed and easy-going much like the beat of the track itself. It features all seven members of the group dressed in stylish outfits while performing the track’s choreography and acting out scenes from their own love stories, which befits the nature of the song’s lyrics. The highlight of the video comes with a shot from above, showing off the band’s star-shaped dance formation.

The dance practice version of ‘Love Scenario‘ has also been released. With the member all dressed in black, and the lighting in their rehearsal studio dimmed, they pull off the choreography with pin point precision.

The group has also released the dance practice video for ‘Beautiful‘.
‘Beautiful‘ is one of the other tracks from their comeback album ‘Return‘. It’s a beautifully (excuse the pun) rendered pure pop song, and reminds us of that iKON are more than just the loud, brash rappers that we’ve seen in their most recent releases. The dance practice video takes place in their rehearsal space and their moves are as sharp as always.
