INFINITE have made a successful and highly anticipated comeback with the release of their third full album ‘Top Seed’ and the title track ‘Tell Me’.
‘Top Seed’ is the group’s first album since the departure of former member Hoya, and it features 12 tracks which includes solo tracks by members L, Dongwoo and Sungjong.
The title track ‘Tell Me’ was written, composed and produced by BLSSD.
The lyrics of the song talk are full of emotion and meaning, they talk about the feelings of regret and loneliness after letting a loved one go and asking for them to return.
Musically, the song had a different vibe to what we are used to hearing from INFINITE, but in my opinion, that’s a good thing. It’s great to see them trying new and fresh approaches. The rap and the vocal in the track blend with each so smoothly, it’s seamless.
The music video fits the theme of the song perfectly. It’s a MV that is full of pleasing aesthetic visuals and soothing, muted colours. It comes across as quite dream-like with the members chasing after their lost love and showing their loneliness and emptiness.
