After all the teaser clips and images NCT Dream, have now released their track ‘GO‘ and the accompanying music video.
As we saw from the teasers, this is a grown-up and mature version of NCT Dream. Along with the new grown-up look, comes a more mature evolved sound.
This track is a world away from their 2017 release ‘My First and Last‘. It has more in common with the sound and vibe that we’ve come to expect from their big-brother act NCT 127. The song comes off as a techno trap mash-up that is loud and brash and at points feels somewhat experimental. It feels like ‘GO‘ is trying to be a teenage anthem by combining the strong vocal line with the ‘shout it out loud’ rebellious chorus.
The clip that comes with the track shows us the traditional hard-core choreography that we’ve come to expect from all the NCT units. The choreography is interspersed with moments that show us both sides of the members; their new grown-up image, and the dorky, fun-loving teenagers that they are.
