Snuper have made a comeback to celebrate their second anniversary since debut. They released ‘Dear – Snuper 2nd Anniversary Single Album’. The title track from the single album is ‘Dear‘.
‘Dear‘ is a beautiful track with lyrics that speak to feelings of fondness and affection for the people they love.
The track itself is a slow burn ballad, driven by layers of synths and an ever-fluctuating instrumental. The rap verses are punched out with a wall of sound while leaving the second verse sparse. The vocals are another element that dance around the instrumental but rarely takes it over. Then there’s the beautiful chorus, which hits all the right spots during the song’s final key change climax.
The group once again worked with their long-time collaborative production team of Sweetune for this track. They’ve worked together on a number of releases now and this track proves that they’ve got a great understanding of each other.
