It’s been almost a year since Suzy released ‘Yes? No?‘. Well wait no longer, Suzy has announced her much anticipated return, coming this January. Her new mini album will include music from a variety of genres. Fans can expect four different MVs to released, all said to be filmed around Los Angeles.
Shortly after the announcement, Suzy gifted her fans with a preview of her second mini album, ‘Faces of Love‘. Titled ‘Prequel‘, the black and white clip is a spoiler of the album. It also reveals the track names as Suzy shows different faces to express each song. It also reveals two release dates; pre-release on the 22nd of January 6:00PM KST, and release on the 29th of January 6:00PM KST. Check out the clip below and let us know which face is your favourite.
Mini album preview
On January 16th, a teaser clip was released for her pre-release track ‘In Love With Someone Else.’ The clip shows Suzy with her boyfriend and the progress of their relationship towards destruction. The contrast of the initial happy clips to the later ones filled with frustration and heart ache. The track is a slow ballad, shinning light on Suzy‘s soft mellow vocals.

Along with the clip, posters for the tracks were also released. Underneath each song title is a description of an emotion, which expresses the track.
Suzy then proceeded to release a series of teaser images.
The first were a black and white set. In the initial photo Suzy stares forwards, her gaze captivating the audience. You can’t help but be stunned by her sheer beauty. The second image shows Suzy looking away from the camera. The close up shot makes it more intimate. The title of her pre-release song ‘In love with someone else‘ is seen written down the bottom of the image.

Two similar styled images soon followed. A purple blueish shade is washed over the initial image. Suzy looks away from the camera again, her gaze directed downward in another close up shot. The second image goes back to the black and white theme. Suzy shows off her perfect figure as she sits alone, turning back to look at the camera. Showing off a sense of elegant loneliness.

Suzy then goes on to tease her track ‘Holiday‘. Presenting a completely different vibe from her previous teaser images, these ones are bright and fun. Full of colour, Suzy is seen around a hot dog stand and a colourful shopping street. Her long hair and slim figure radiates elegance and glamour. She looks invitingly towards the camera. It makes you wish you could jump into the image and join her. The track also features popular Korean rapper and composer DPR Live.
Holiday Teasers 1
Suzy continues to tease fans with a photo-card this time. Suzy is seen on a boat, rocking a sailor themed outfit. The wind blows her outfit, giving her a slight Marilyn Monroe sort of feel. She pouts, blowing a kiss towards the audience.
Photocard Teaser
Her final set of teasers shows off her more glamorous side. Seen in the middle of street with the Hollywood sign behind her. Suzy rocks two different outfits. Both giving off a ‘Pretty Women‘ sort of vibe. The first she leans against a car while the second she seems to be enjoying a stroll across town. Suzy effortlessly pulls out both outfits, while the images also bring out her natural beauty.
