100% recently had a comeback with “Beat” and now they’re back and giving fans more to love with their charming and cute song “Summer Hero“. For those unfamiliar, 100% are performing missing 2 of their original members; leader Minwoo is doing is military service and Sanghun the maknae has asked for some time off to contemplate his future. This hasn’t seemed to affect the music quality and this song, though different from “Beat” is really very good.
The video is a compilation of behind the scenes shots, showing the members doing fan-signings, dance practices and photo shoots for promotions. This is a style of video that can be fun since it gives fans the chance to get a better idea of how their favorites really are. As for the song, it is a good boy-group-aegyo which is something that I for one really like. There’s a light, fun sound to the song and it makes me smile when I hear it.
Did you like it? I really did, I think that 100% is making their way up my list of favorite boy groups. I loved pretty much everything about it. As an international fan, these behind the scenes videos are often the closest we get to seeing our idols relaxed. It is really great when they are well done like this one.
