With the 3rd anniversary of Park Yong Ha’s death just around the corner, 1,000 fans from Japan are expected to come to Korea to attend a floral tribute and memorial ceremony.
Yona Entertainment stated, “On June 30th, from 9:30 a.m., a floral tribute and memorial ceremony will be held at the Memorial Park in Bundang, Gyeonggi-do. From 3:00 p.m., a photo exhibition and video screening will be held at the Seoul Sangmyung University Art Center. We prepared these events to remember Park Yong Ha as it has been 20 years since his debut.”
“The late Park Yong Ha always thought of others before him, and never turned a cold shoulder to those in need. He thought of them as family and always cared for them. Though he is no longer with us, he will live on in our hearts as a shining star.”
Kim Jae Hyun, Yona Entertainment′s CEO and the late artist’s brother-in-law, said, “Every April 8th, fans celebrate ′Yona Day′ for Park Yong Ha, and so we came to hold an event thanks to their longing and love toward the actor.”
Since June 22nd, an encore screening of the film concert ‘Park Yong Ha Films 2004-2010 We Love Yong Ha,’ which shows Park Yong Ha′s achievements as a hallyu star, has been held in Tokyo, and will run until July 5th.
The agency’s representative added, “His last film ‘The Scam,’ which was released before his death on June 30th, 2010, will also screen from June 29th to July 5th at the same location. We expect many fans who wish to remember him to attend.”
