4MINUTE is back with a new music video and a new single off their recent album. ‘ACT.7.’ With each music video, it appears that they are pushing the way we watch music videos to the next level.
‘CANVAS’, was shot using a 360VR camera that not only has a high HD quality but also a fabulous ability to capture angles the way certain cameras are not able to.
It’s not the set or just the group’s choreography that catches your eye but how you view the music video itself. To shoot the music video, they used a 360VR camera which is used to create a virtual reality simulation-type environment for the viewer. You can control the angle of the music video as though you are the director with sharp picture and angles.
On the mobile you are allowed to focus on the members and it’s key lighting. While viewing the music video on the laptop, you won’t get the same experience as you would on your mobile with the 360VR camera. It will show you the entire set but it won’t look as good as it would on the mobile. On the laptop it looks out of place as the camera moves inward towards the members and odd display of lighting. The music video will leave you feeling both satisfied as a fan and maybe a little dizzy, but the cinematography is absolutely flawless.

Fans certainly were impressed by the music video’s style as to how unusual yet amazing it looked. ‘CANVAS’ is 4MINUTE’s 2nd single off their recent album ACT.7.
