It was revealed that ‘2012 Korean Music Wave Festival‘ in Incheon has been canceled.
The event’s organizer, HH Company, stated that the cancellation was due to expenses.
A lot of well-known idol groups were invited for this festival, such as B.A.P, KARA, Super Junior, F.T. Island, ZE:A, Boyfriend, Girl’s Day, Rainbow, A Pink and more. This performance would have been Super Junior’s leader, Leeteuk, last performance before enlisting in the military later this year.
The sudden cancellation has left many fans angered and disappointed. Some fandoms expressed their disappointments by stating, “If it was going to be like this, you guys shouldn’t have announced the event to begin with” and “Think about everybody who had been waiting for the concert to take place. Please just continue with the concert.”
‘2012 Korean Music Wave Festival’ was scheduled to take place on September 15th at the World Cup Stadium in Incheon. HH Company ensured that they will be issuing refunds to those who purchased tickets.
