Concert goers are in for a treat! 2AM’s Changmin will perform a song he wrote and composed; his song “Not a Bad Person” will make its debut during 2AM’s December Concert.
On November 13th Changmin revealed a little inside tip about what to expect at the concert, “For my solo stage at our upcoming concert, I will be singing “Not a Bad Person,” an unreleased song composed by me. I will put my heart and soul into performing it for the first time during the concert, so please show your support.”
Changmin’s unreleased single was composed by him and written, with the help of his producer Jerry L. The song is very unlike 2AM’s usual style of ballads and slow peaceful melodies, it will be a cocktail of electronic piano sounds with guitar riffs. Unfortunately, this single will not be included on their new album “Nocturne”.
Changmin spoke about his chance to display his own style as a songwriter: “Until now, I have performed songs by artists I like whenever I have a solo stage at a concert. But this year I wanted to stand on stage singing a self-composed song. I worked on ‘Not a Bad Person’ during my spare time. It represents the style of music I enjoy, and I think the audience can have a great time listening to it. That is why I chose it.”
The group’s comeback album was originally supposed to be released on the 19th of November but the date was pushed back to improve the album, rescheduling the release to November 27th.
